Not only is the weather going to be simply, southerly perfect - forecast calls for glorious sunshine and great racing conditions, temperatures in the mid-80s and cool crisp spring mornings in the low 60's, but the parties and camaraderie surrounding this great event will be second-to-none.

With over ten Melges 17s scheduled to go head-to-head, the racing is going to be some of the most intense yet. This is the first time for the M17 as a fleet in Charleston. Folks are traveling from all over the country, leaving all to believe that this will be a very competitive regatta. Some of the best-of-the-best are attending including: the Unicume family from Denver, Colorado - racing two Melges 17s; Fleet No. 1 Captain, Larry Brand from White Lake, Michigan will be racing as he continues to rave about the boat.
